     1. Selecting correct knife for the right job

Its important when cutting food we use correct knife. For example

Paring knife: for peeling fruits and vegetables, and other small or intricate work such as deveining a shrimp, removing the seeds from a skinning or cutting small garnish
Cook chef knife: is a multi-purpose knife designed to perform well at many differing kitchen tasks, rather than excelling at any one in particular. It can be used for mincing, slicing, and chopping vegetables, slicing meat, and disjointing large cuts.

So you can see the equipment for use is clean and sharp

       3. To maintain knife

This is how to main knife 45 degree an angle

In this picture  it can be seen that we are maintaining the sharpness of the knifes. You can use a long stone for sharping knifes bur for this one we are using steel.
One should hold the steel at the  45 degree angle and sharpen the knifes from the heel to the tip of the blade from the top going down the steel. the same should go for the other side of the blade of the knifes.

       4.  Storage

Re: Fire Evacuation introductions

Hello everyone

I hop all of you to understand from our last drill we gad. But i am sure we could all tell we need improvement and clearer introduction on what we do in the emergency to keep ourselves and each other are safe. The fire exits is located in the back right side of the staff room and to the right in the main office space.

We need ensures that fire are clear at all the time meaning no table, chairs, or  box in the way keep everyone safe.

Pleas everyone need a note of introduction listen below.

When you hear fire alarm you need to leave everything then try to run from the building of your work place or you live in that building and try to be orderly as possible while going out of the fire exits.

Know the route is near to you of the exits fire for you.

Make sure everything is clear

Don't leave the safe spot until we have been given the all clear by a fire safety officer.

For any questions please contact me by email

Kitchen recycling update

To: Jenny McCabe
From: Deel Jackson
Date: 25 May 2016
Re: Kitchen recycling update

Hello everyone I just updated a new kitchen recycling. I have gotten a few complaints about the recycling bins but rest assured these issues have gotten fixed to the best that we could do.

  • Mostly the recycling bins are being used correctly (example, plastics should be in the yellow bin and food should go to the green bin etc.)
  • Jackson has had mostly positive feedback from staff about a new system.
  • Some staff think it's a waste of time, but do follow the rules.
  • There is some confusion over the type of plastic that are recyclable.

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from your company on June 24, 2018. I was visited by a representative of That Awful Company, Mr. Madman, at my home on that day.

Mr. Madman was one hour late for his appointment and offered nothing by way of apology when he arrived at noon. Your representative did not remove his muddy shoes upon entering my house, and consequently left a trail of dirt in the hallway. Mr. Madman then proceeded to present a range of products to me that I had specifically told his assistant by telephone I was not interested in. I repeatedly tried to ask your representative about the products that were of interest to me, but he refused to deal with my questions. We ended our meeting after 25 minutes without either of us having accomplished anything.

I am most annoyed that I wasted a morning (and half a day's vacation) waiting for Mr. Madman to show up. My impression of That Awful Company has been tarnished, and I am now concerned about how my existing business is being managed by your firm. Furthermore, Mr. Madman's inability to remove his muddy shoes has meant that I have had to engage the services, and incur the expense, of a professional carpet cleaner.

I trust this is not the way That Awful Company wishes to conduct business with valued customers. I have been with you since the company was founded and have never encountered such treatment before. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss matters further and to learn of how you propose to prevent a similar situation from recurring. I look forward to hearing from you.

Your  faithfully,
